Talking about letter sounds in Spanish. Can you add more?

Spanish sound of letter "z" as in zapato tantamounts to  English sound  of "th" as in thought. Do you agree?

Yes, Ricardo, that is the case in Spain, right? But not in Argentina, where the distinction between the letter "z" and "s" is not made and both are pronounced as the sound "s" in English.

So, "zapato" and "suelo" are both pronounced with the English sound "s".

Now, I wonder also why it is difficult for Spanish students from Spain to get the pronunciation of the "th" sound in English?!
